as precursor. The effects of process variables such as growth temperature, position of the aerosol generator and position

degree, homogeneity, diameter and alignment of the nanotubes, as observed by TEM, SEM, XRD and Raman spectroscopy. Vertically

A number of resins containing ethylenediamine acetic acid groups have been prepared, and these intermediates (resin-EDTA) converted into the iron(III) form. The capacities of these exchangers in the formation of iron(III)-phenol complexes have been studied and compared with those of the Chelex-iron(III) resin. The character of the exchanger matrix is very important in connection with the retention of phenols and with the elution order. The modified Amberlite CG 4B in the iron(III) form can be used for the quantitative separation of phenolic compounds, a separation that is not possible with the Chelex-iron(III) resin. 相似文献

Light scattering and reflection measurements using attenuated total reflection technique for s polarization of the incident light on a finite one-dimensional photonic crystal are reported. Angular specular reflection was measured experimentally to determine, the optimum thickness, the angular position of the surface mode, and the number of bi-layers of the system. It was demonstrated that the position of the surface mode inside the last film is close to the asymptotic value when the number of periods is increased. Spectral reflection measurements were made to determine experimentally the band gap width and measure the dispersion relation of the surface mode inside this band. The corresponding field amplitude was calculated (∣E∣2) showing that in resonant conditions it has a maximum near the surface. The angular dependence of the scattered light measured displays a peak caused by singles cattering and located approximately at the excitation angle of the surface electromagnetic mode. When the incident light is in resonance with the surface electromagnetic wave, it is found experimentally that the scattering of light is enhanced overall by approximately one order of magnitude in comparison with the off-resonance case. 相似文献

Designing and developing flexible electronics requires a thorough investigation of the substrates available for the fabrication of devices. Here, we present a practical study on a variety of significant substrates: polyethylene terephthalate (PET), its heat‐stabilized (HS) derivative, HS‐PET, and polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) plastic insulating films; indium tin oxide (ITO)‐coated ITO/PEN and ITO/PET transparent conducting films; rigid ITO/glass and FTO/glass substrates; stainless steel and titanium foils. We put the substrates through a range of tests these actually undergo during device fabrication to determine their optical, mechanical flexibility (under different types of tensile and compressive stress bending with and without a PEDOT:PSS conducting polymer layer), solvent resistance, stability to temperature treatment (conductivity and deformation), and to UV irradiation. We highlight issues and propose solutions to improve substrate response. The results and thresholds extracted reveal limitations and windows of opportunity useful for the designer of flexible optoelectronics in determining manufacturing processes and the final applications under everyday operation. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Spinodal decomposition during continuous cooling of the PbOB2O3Al2O3 quasi-binary glass system was analysed by numerical integration of Cook's differential equation (which includes the contribution of random density fluctuations) for small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) intensity. The SAXS curves derived from the calculations have a wide range of k-Fourier components (0 < k < kc) for which a positive amplification factor occurs and they show a “crossover” point at . The wavenumber which receives maximal amplification, km, increases with the cooling rate, Q, as , with n = 10.9. This Q dependence of km is similar to that predicted by Huston et al., however our results show a higher value of n. The dependence on Q and km of the SAXS intensity I(km) was also deduced. The measurements of SAXS curves were performed on glass samples prepared by the splat-cooling technique. Because of the difficulties which arise in the determination of the cooling rate of the samples, the only experimental results that could be compared with the theory are the km dependence of I and the value of kc. These results are satisfactorily understood in terms of the present analysis. 相似文献

The intercalation of imidazole and some organic species containing the imidazole ring, between the layers of crystalline zirconium phosphate has been investigated. Fourteen new, well-ordered intercalation compounds are obtained with the batch procedure at r.t. and/or 60°C. A mechanism of formation of the various compounds is proposed on the basis of the interaction between the guest molecules (with their dimensions and geometries) and the free PO3OH groups available between the layers of the host.
